A Senior Citrix Specialist role involving design, implementation, and optimization of advanced Citrix solutions for a large and complex IT infrastructure, working closely with internal and external customers to meet high technical and business standards.
Main requirements:
  • Experienced Citrix specialist with deep knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud.
  • Experience working in customer-facing roles implementing and optimizing Citrix solutions.
  • Certifications such as Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V) or Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V) are preferred.
  • Experience with Citrix Hypervisor, Citrix SD-WAN, and related Citrix technologies.
  • Strong focus on security with experience implementing security solutions on Citrix platforms.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions optimizing performance and user experience.
  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline operations.
  • Strong communication skills for advising technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Several years of experience working with Citrix solutions in large, complex environments, preferably in a consultancy role.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments with integration to Citrix Cloud and other enterprise solutions.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and performance optimization for Citrix platforms including Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Hypervisor, and Citrix SD-WAN.
  • Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery (DR) in the Citrix environment.
  • Proactively manage security including user access, policies, and protection against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver customized Citrix solutions.
  • Automate processes and scripting to optimize management of Citrix platforms.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers during implementation and ongoing maintenance.
