The Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA) is seeking a creative system developer with strong technical interest to work as both Scrum Master and software developer. The role involves contributing to Sweden's security and integrity by developing and maintaining technical systems, leading agile work within a SAFe framework, and collaborating closely with cyber domain users. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on meaningful societal impact, continuous development, and teamwork.
Main requirements:
- Completed post-secondary education in Systems Science, Engineering, or other IT-related fields or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a developer in a development team.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Scrum Master in a development team.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and GitHub as a Scrum Master or developer.
- Experience with Python in Linux environments.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, e.g. Java.
- Proficient communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop agile work as Scrum Master following the SAFe model.
- Develop software using the latest technologies in both frontend and backend.
- Participate in all phases of systems lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Collaborate closely with customers and internal users in the cyber domain.
- Combine technical expertise with analytical skills to develop new methods and tools to advance operations.
- Balance tasks approximately 50% Scrum Master duties and 50% system development.
Required hard skills:
- Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe framework.
- Python programming in Linux environments.
- Object-oriented programming (e.g., Java).
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, GitHub.
Recommended hard skills:
- Courses, training or certifications in IT.
- Container-based software development.
- Experience with virtual environments.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, CSS.
- Experience with ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Driver's license (B).
