Requirements Analyst for Agile Development Team

Seeking a Requirements Analyst to join an agile development team at an authority within the electric power sector. This is a full-time consultancy assignment involving close collaboration with the client, requiring high flexibility and teamwork.
Main requirements:
  • University education of 120p/180hp within IT or equivalent education/work experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a requirements analyst in IT within last 10 years, covering both functional and non-functional requirements
  • At least 5 years working with requirements tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • At least 5 years experience working as a requirements analyst in an agile development team using agile methods like User stories, MVP, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Capture and document functional and non-functional requirements via workshops, user interviews, observations, and document studies
  • Break down requirements into manageable value-creating deliveries and define acceptance criteria
  • Ensure requirements are specified in a developable and testable manner
  • Work closely with product owners, business experts, and development teams to ensure clear, prioritized, and understood requirements
  • Ensure requirements are communicated and anchored among various stakeholders and requirement owners
  • Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the development chain
  • Participate in continuous improvement of team work methods, documentation, and requirements processes
  • Support testing and quality assurance through requirements validation and test case review
  • Provide methodological support in requirements management to business specialists/requirement owners for both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Design or revise workflows for the receiving organization
Required hard skills:
  • University degree or equivalent in IT or related field
  • 5+ years experience as IT requirements analyst dealing with both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience with requirements tools like Jira, Azure DevOps
  • Experience working in agile development teams using agile methodologies (User stories, MVP)
Recommended hard skills:
  • Certification/Diploma as requirements analyst from IIBA, Astrakan or equivalent
  • 2+ years technical requirements experience in complex, security-sensitive IT environments
  • 2+ years experience as product owner
  • 2+ years experience in the power systems industry
