We at National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS) are looking for a communicative person with experience in project management within software development, medical technology or healthcare who wants to drive Sweden and Europe forward towards improved biomedical research and health.
Main requirements:
  • University degree related to the position, e.g. Master of Engineering, scientist, system scientist, or medical doctor.
  • Documented practical experience in project management or coordination; at least 3 years with responsibility for successful project or subproject completion.
  • Experience in anticipating and addressing needs for coordination and knowledge exchange within a project.
  • Comfortable leading large teams without requiring detailed expert knowledge.
  • Ability to engage and motivate others.
  • Experience with digital meetings and digital communication.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English spoken and written.
  • Ability to give presentations in both Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
  • Continuously lead development and improvement projects, both national and international, including EU projects.
  • Be well acquainted with the project goals and project members' needs.
  • Work closely with driven and knowledgeable colleagues at NBIS and other organizations.
  • Participate in various national and international projects.
  • Represent NBIS at national and international conferences.
  • Further develop collaboration with authorities and infrastructures within healthcare.
Required hard skills:
  • Project management or coordination experience with at least 3 years in responsible roles.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and digital meetings.
  • Presentation skills in Swedish and English.
