The Project Control Specialist position at Hitachi Energy Sweden AB involves strengthening quality, governance, and reporting across project, portfolio, and fixed teams. The specialist will set up control systems, oversee forecasts, cost trend analysis, and milestone fulfillment, while collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate cost projections and adherence to KPIs.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in English
- Competence in understanding and addressing customer needs
- ISO 27001 and IEC 62443 Fundamentals certifications considered a plus
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure adherence to portfolio KPIs including milestones, on-time delivery, cost-to-complete planning, revenue forecasting, and invoice management
- Analyze data to identify variances between initial estimates and final project costs supporting financial accuracy
- Lead implementation, maturity assessment, and improvement of processes to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability
- Support cash flow analysis and overdue invoice tracking at portfolio level
- Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy guidelines, policies, and processes
- Provide monthly planning oversight to drive consistency in project execution
- Track key performance indicators
