The High-Performance and Automatic Computing (HPAC) research group at Umeå University is seeking a Project Assistant for a 5-month fixed-term position to develop reference implementations for tensor contraction operations. The role involves generalizing the standardized BLAS interface for GEMM to tensor contractions, providing a reference C implementation for binary tensor contractions, and communicating with the tensor contraction standardization team. This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, experience with tensor computations, strong C programming skills, excellent English communication skills, and good collaboration ability.
