Join COMSOL AB as a Product Specialist in low frequency electromagnetics to help develop the future electromagnetics and multiphysics design tools. The role focuses on extending the AC/DC Module capabilities for COMSOL Multiphysics® by designing and documenting features for modeling electric systems in the low frequency regime.
Main requirements:
- PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics, preferably with experience in applied computational electromagnetics.
- Deep understanding of Maxwell's equations and associated computational methods.
- Practical experience with resistive and capacitive effect applications such as sensors, actuators, or power electronics.
- Interest in usability aspects of software design.
- Good technical-writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, design, create, and document key features and functionality for modeling electric systems in the low frequency regime.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including electrical engineers, plasma physicists, semiconductor physicists, and RF/wave optics experts.
- Collaborate with core COMSOL teams focused on geometry handling, meshing, rendering, and numerical solver development.
