Product Owner for HR IT

Lead and develop applications for HR and ensure the operation of central HR systems in a government agency. Responsible for managing internal HR solutions, including development, operations, monitoring, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in operational application responsibility including development, operations, monitoring, maintenance and decommissioning.
  • At least 2 years work experience in a similar role with technical product development in HR.
  • Relevant post-secondary technical education in computer science, system science or equivalent experience.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily work to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure secure and stable operations of applications.
  • Drive development and prioritization of applications.
  • Collaborate closely with various business areas and stakeholders.
  • Conduct continuous environmental monitoring within the subject area.
  • Adapt applications to standardized processes.
  • Perform operational follow-up including incident, problem, change, release, and configuration management.
  • Address errors as needed.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue and needs discussions with internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate with other applications and product owners within the same workflow.
Required hard skills:
  • Operational application management and development.
  • HR technical product development experience.
  • Technical education in computer science or equivalent.
  • Swedish language proficiency.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Heroma) and relevant HR payroll processes.
  • Experience working with SAFe methodology, agile development trains, SCRUM, and Jira.
  • Leadership in technical workshops and solution presentations.
  • Experience working in or with governmental agencies.
