Take part in the development of our first original game, Exoborne, contributing to the foundation of a great QA team. Collaborate closely with various departments to produce the best possible player experience by establishing efficient testing practices and guiding team members.
Main requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in quality control/quality assurance, preferably within the gaming industry
  • Experience with various QA specializations is a plus
  • Proficient with defect tracking and planning tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Testrail, ideally with admin knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to recognize critical issues and testing deficiencies immediately
  • Analytical understanding of QA related KPIs and generation methods
  • Solid understanding of live game development cycles and familiarity with game engines and development tools
  • Expertise in reporting and targeting information to the right stakeholders
Responsibilities:
  • Document test plans, QA tasks, and test cases for internal and external teams
  • Help prioritize daily tasks for External FQA teams and facilitate communication with their leadership
  • Review and prioritize bugs, create Jira dashboards for the project and stakeholders
  • Assist with planning and logistics for internal and external user experience playtests
  • Act as an intermediary with the QA lead for requests towards the QA team
  • Provide qualitative feedback, engage with stakeholders focusing on validating game quality where it matters most
  • Support the team in establishing an efficient and maintainable pipeline from development to live
  • Prepare and share various reports with stakeholders upon request
