Lead development and coordination of radio technologies within Ericsson's Product Engineering Unit Radio, focusing on innovation, system studies, and technology strategy to deliver advanced radio products.
Main requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Radio access technologies (WCDMA, LTE, NR) with focus on Radio system design
  • Experience in wireless system design in Radio HW, Radio SW, Embedded Systems, or Radio Access Networks
  • At least 5 years of experience in system development
  • Ability to handle both short-term and long-term objectives with big picture and implementation detail views
  • Self-motivation, drive, and initiative
  • Strong analytical skills
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Wireless communication systems, or equivalent
Responsibilities:
  • Work on technical challenges and develop radio concepts based on RF technology, ASIC Design, Mechanics, Algorithms, Machine learning etc.
  • Ensure a world-leading portfolio of Radio products for varied customer needs
  • Lead early system studies of new technologies, concepts, products, and features
  • Participate in high-level system solutions in collaboration with other system and design teams
  • Coordinate with designers, program managers, and line managers to deliver solutions
  • Support design and verification activities
  • Drive design choices to conclusion when needed
