We are seeking a Platform Engineer - Network to design, implement, and maintain large-scale IT infrastructure systems that enable IKEA's digital transformation. The role involves ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient IT connectivity services, operating and developing network architecture and security, and supporting business projects with network solutions based on HPE/Aruba technologies.
Main requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience designing, managing, and developing IT connectivity.
- Thorough understanding of connectivity technologies such as Switching & Routing, (SD)WAN, and DNS.
- Ability to operate, develop, architect, and deliver IT connectivity and services according to security requirements.
- Ability to develop roadmaps, standards, and guidelines for connectivity and network security.
- Capability to support business projects and deliver user-centric network products and services.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to develop connectivity technology and services.
- Proactive, initiative-taking team player with agile working experience and customer focus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IT infrastructure architecture blueprints and high-level IT service designs.
- Develop roadmaps, standards, and guidelines to support IT infrastructure implementation.
- Operate and develop IT connectivity and services while ensuring security compliance.
- Contribute to digital innovation by adopting new information technologies and platforms.
- Support business projects with competent network solutions based on HPE/Aruba products.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver connectivity technologies and services enhancing IKEA's franchise offer.
- Orchestrate connectivity using IKEA frameworks, delivery models, and partners.
Required hard skills:
- IT connectivity design and management
- Networking technologies: Switching & Routing, (SD)WAN, DNS
- Network architecture and network security knowledge
- Experience with HPE/Aruba network products
