MAJORITY is a digital financial service app built for migrants, including FDIC-insured accounts, Visa Prepaid cards, money remittance, and international calling. The company aims to empower migrants by providing tools to thrive in their new countries. The Platform Engineer (DevOps) will maintain deployment pipelines, databases, infrastructure, and security, focusing on automation, compliance, performance, and supporting a microservice architecture.
Main requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience developing tools and platforms with cloud providers
- Extensive experience with Docker orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or similar
- Solid Linux experience
- Development/scripting experience preferably in Python
- Understanding and interest in CI/CD, experience with build tools/services like Azure DevOps or similar
- Production experience with monitoring, logging, and distributed systems
Responsibilities:
- Assist development teams with automation and architecture
- Automate and drive security and compliance for PCI Level-1 and SOC2, DevSecOps
- Improve platform performance focusing on response time, scalability, and resource allocation
- Develop and improve internal tools for development teams to support continuous delivery
- Build and support microservice architecture using Kubernetes, Istio, Datadog, Elastic, Terraform
