Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Mullvad VPN is a Swedish VPN company opposing mass surveillance and censorship. They believe in a free and open society with personal privacy rights. The Infrastructure team at Mullvad manages public DNS, Proxmox servers, metrics servers, backup servers, and delivers a platform for other teams to build upon.
Main requirements:
  • Technical university degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 7 years experience as Linux system administrator with network background
  • Experience with Ansible, Netbox, Proxmox, PostgreSQL, Grafana, LibreNMS, CI/CD, HashiCorp Vault
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Anycasting/BGP, authoritative DNS (bind9, unbound) is a plus
  • Experience with both bare metal servers and virtual machines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and share knowledge within the team
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
