IT Support Technician for a Municipal Company

We are looking for a skilled IT support technician to contribute to smooth daily operations for hundreds of users at a large municipal company in Skellefteå. This is a part-time position (50%) from August 25 to October 24, 2025, focusing on printer and related equipment management, including ordering, installation, operation, and documentation while serving as a key liaison among end users, suppliers, and the IT department.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in IT support, especially hardware and network
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and peripherals like printers and network components
  • Understanding of ITIL processes such as incident management and change management
  • Experience documenting clearly and working with ticketing systems
  • Experience with Active Directory and remote support tools like TeamViewer or RDP
  • Good command of Swedish in speaking and writing
  • Ability to quickly understand organizational needs and implement solutions
Responsibilities:
  • Order, plan, and coordinate installation of printers and related equipment
  • Ensure correct delivery, configuration, and commissioning
  • Document installations according to agreed procedures
  • Provide support and serve as contact person for supplier-related issues or support cases
  • Participate in regular meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Manage toner orders, incorrect deliveries, and improve instructions
