Two IT Support Technicians are sought for a government agency in Norrköping to provide first and second line IT support, handling IT-related issues, and developing the self-service portal. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, experience working with IT support, and the ability to communicate clearly in Swedish. The role involves working in a team, using systems like Easit, Doc IT, and ACE, and requires security clearance.
Main requirements:
  • Completed secondary education in IT or equivalent
  • At least 24 months documented professional experience in the field within the past five years
  • At least 12 months experience in IT support within a government agency during the past five years
  • Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Experience working with incident management systems, such as EasitGO
  • Fluent communication in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Swedish citizenship and ability to pass security clearance due to sensitive government work
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, manage, and resolve IT-related incidents
  • Communicate with users via phone, email, and incident management system
  • Install hardware and software
  • Specify documentation requirements to facilitate incident handling
  • Follow up on incidents
  • Collaborate closely with other IT sections and units
  • Act as backup to first line support when necessary
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Administer IT environments such as user accounts, permissions, and print queues
Required hard skills:
  • Knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
  • Experience with incident management systems like EasitGO
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar software
  • Hardware and software installation skills
  • IT environment administration skills (user accounts, permissions, print queues)
