IT Project Manager – working with real estate projects

Responsible for delivering IT infrastructure in various real estate projects within the Government Offices of Sweden, managing both small and large projects, ensuring timely delivery of requested IT services, and collaborating within the Strategy, Architecture and Controlling section of the Digitalisation Department.
Main requirements:
  • Higher education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Completed project management training.
  • At least five years of recent experience leading IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working in real estate projects with delivery responsibility for IT infrastructure.
  • Strong technical knowledge in IT.
  • Ability to clearly and professionally present information.
  • Ability to formulate structured mission descriptions, reports, and project plans.
  • Good knowledge of project tools and understanding of change management in project leadership.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead both large and small projects with budget responsibility and report to steering groups.
  • Identify, plan, execute, and document activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and implement requested IT infrastructure solutions together with other competencies.
Required hard skills:
  • Project management certification (desired).
  • Project methodology XLPM (desired).
  • Experience as IT technician in IT infrastructure operation and maintenance (desired).
  • Experience with project tools and understanding change management.
  • Strong technical IT competence.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience from other government agencies or large private organizations.
  • Experience with public sector procurement.
  • Experience handling IT issues related to real estate projects.
  • Knowledge in supplier management.
