IT Project Manager for Electricity Market Applications

As an IT Project Manager at Svenska Kraftnät, you will lead IT projects related to management, development, and digitalization of critical electricity market applications. You will work closely with IT staff and other business units to plan, coordinate, and administer projects through all project phases, ensuring delivery aligned with Svenska Kraftnät guidelines and governmental regulations.

  • University degree (120p/180hp) in IT, computer science, system science or equivalent competence
  • Several years of relevant experience as an IT project manager
  • Experience working with business-critical IT systems with high information security demands in a complex IT environment
  • Good Swedish and English communication skills, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, coordinate, and administer projects through all project phases
  • Handover to operational management upon project completion
  • Support project owners in producing project directives and documentation following Svenska Kraftnät guidelines
  • Drive project activities and regularly report progress and risks to the steering group
  • Continuously inform various stakeholder groups
  • Be responsible for project budgeting and resource allocation
  • Manage suppliers and supplier contacts
  • Conduct procurements as needed in accordance with Svenska Kraftnät directives and processes, e.g. LOU
  • Contribute to maintenance planning and budgeting processes
Required hard skills:
  • Project management experience in IT projects
  • Knowledge of IT systems critical to business with high information security
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources
  • Supplier and procurement management
Recommended hard skills:
  • Project management certifications such as PPS, Prince2, or XLPM
  • Experience in developing functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience leading implementation of information or business systems
  • Experience in structured change management methods such as ADKAR
