IT Operations Technician focused on Access Control

We are seeking an IT Operations Technician with a focus on our access control system! This role involves managing daily operations and development of our central access system from Gantner, crucial to ensure 24/7 gym functionality. You will also contribute to broader IT initiatives including cybersecurity, automation, digitalization, user experience improvements, and infrastructure optimization.
Main requirements:
  • Technical responsibility for access control platform from Gantner including configuration, troubleshooting and integration
  • Develop and optimize access solution focusing on stability, scalability and user experience
  • Act as requirement owner towards suppliers and collaborate closely
  • Ensure robust and efficient operations and support through proactive monitoring and improvements
  • Coordinate and quality assure IT infrastructure and system support in new gym openings and upgrades
  • Participate and lead projects related to operations, security, automation and system integration
  • Capture business technical and functional needs and translate into sustainable IT solutions
  • Contribute to continuous development of IT processes, methods and tools focusing on automation, scalability and security
Responsibilities:
  • Technical ownership and development of the Gantner access platform
  • Collaboration with suppliers to guarantee quality and technical compliance
  • Proactive monitoring and improvement of operations and support
  • Coordination of IT set-up for new and upgraded gym facilities
  • Involvement in projects for operational efficiency, cybersecurity and automation
  • Gathering and translating operational needs into IT solutions
  • Enhancement of IT processes with focus on automation and security
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with access control systems, preferably Gantner platform
  • Knowledge of APIs and system integrations
  • Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (local and cloud)
  • Practical experience with network infrastructure including switches, VLANs and firewall configuration
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience in IT operations in multi-site environments
  • Knowledge of cloud services and smart system solutions
  • Project management experience related to IT operations and security
