IT Management Leader

We are seeking an experienced and engaged IT Management Leader to drive digital development in the municipality of Järfälla. The role involves coordinating IT management objects with a special focus on community building, bridging IT and operations to foster maintenance, digital improvements, and innovation.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant university education or equivalent competence
  • At least three years of experience in management leadership/object management/system administration
  • Understanding of public sector conditions and experience working closely with operations
  • Experience working according to the PM3 governance and collaboration model
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL framework
  • Good knowledge of regulations such as GDPR, Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), Public Procurement Act (LOU), and contract management
  • Technical understanding and ability to act as a bridge between IT and operations
  • Experience leading, participating in, and communicating within projects involving various stakeholders
Responsibilities:
  • Establish and realize lifecycle plans within responsible IT objects
  • Ensure stable operation, support, and continuous improvement of IT components included in managed objects, ensuring agreed availability
  • Quality assure, develop and create high-quality work
  • Coordinate internal and external IT suppliers effectively
  • Implement IT-related objectives of management plans cost-effectively and efficiently
  • Create conditions and clarify forms for digitization, development, and innovation
  • Perform analyses and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
