We are seeking an IT infrastructure technician consultant to work closely with clients in warehouse, logistics, and 3PL sectors. The role involves both solving technical problems and advising long-term IT environment strategies, focusing on robust, scalable, and business-supporting IT solutions within Sweden's dynamic logistics industry.
Main requirements:
- At least 5 years of IT operations experience, preferably in 3PL, logistics, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of networking (switches, access points, firewalls), servers (Windows/Linux), and client environments
- Experience working with hybrid or cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Ability to work independently in customer assignments and projects
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical advisor on infrastructure decisions such as local vs cloud, hybrid solutions, server strategies, network design, and client management
- Build governance models for IT operations including roles, responsibilities, documentation, security, and change management
- Lead and execute migrations from legacy platforms to modern solutions e.g., moving servers to the cloud, network environment modernization, centralized administration (Intune, Azure AD)
- Support change initiatives affecting IT infrastructure during new warehouse setups, IT operations insourcing/outsourcing, or major organizational changes
- Participate in procurement and implementation of new systems (WMS, automation), ensuring the IT foundation is properly planned and dimensioned
- Collaborate with other consultants (WMS, integration, BI/Data) to ensure the entire technical stack functions cohesively
- Install, configure and maintain IT infrastructure in warehouse and logistics environments
- Build stable and reliable LAN/WLAN networks with coverage tailored to operations
- Support clients transitioning to cloud or hybrid environments
- Automate recurring processes such as incident management, service requests, and change management
- Contribute to efficient IT operations via effective governance models
- Act as technical advisor in projects related to WMS, TA systems, IoT, and automation
- Serve as a key person in ongoing assignments and implementation projects
