Coordinate and support the IT environment and digital development within a vocational high school to enhance teaching and learning processes.
Main requirements:
  • Good understanding of educational activities and their needs
  • Strong technical competence with various digital tools and systems
  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative, structure tasks through planning and prioritization, and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the school's overall IT development and IT environment in consultation with teachers, school leadership, and staff
  • Identify areas where IT can improve and streamline learning and operations
  • Support students and staff in using digital tools effectively throughout the school day
  • Order, manage, inventory, and document the school's digital equipment
Required hard skills:
  • Post-secondary education in IT or computer science or relevant experience
  • Good competence in Windows, SharePoint, Progress, and Exchange
Soft skills:
  • Good communicator
  • Engaged in helping others
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Operating systems:
  • Windows
Natural languages:
  • Swedish (Proficient)
  • English (Working knowledge)
Cultural skills:
  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and usage of digital tools in schools
  • Experience with international exchange programs and cultural perspective broadening
