Infrastructure Specialist within Azure

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Technician with broad expertise in operation, support, and maintenance of complex IT environments, especially focusing on cloud infrastructure with experience in Azure. The role involves responsibility for the operation of the entire IT infrastructure and contributing to exciting projects ranging from classic mainframe to modern cloud solutions and hybrid environments. The candidate will work throughout the lifecycle—from planning and implementation of Azure environments to maintenance and improvement of cloud-based IT solutions, including setting up, managing, and optimizing servers in Azure and integrating cloud services with other infrastructure.
Main requirements:
- Experience in advanced operation and maintenance of large complex IT environments focusing on Azure and related services
- Experience with Microsoft server and client technologies
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure including management of virtual machines, networking, storage, and security solutions
- Experience with Microsoft 365 including configuration and administration of users, services, and security policies within EntraID and Intune
- Experience with server operations in VMware, with integration to Azure for hybrid solutions and managing virtual resources both on-premises and cloud
- Networking knowledge equivalent to Cisco CCNA
- Experience with firewall rules and continuous security improvements
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Experience participating in or leading IT projects to implement new solutions
- Knowledge of IT security, ITIL, and agile work methodologies
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
- Ensure operational continuity of entire IT infrastructure including cloud and hybrid environments
- Plan, implement, maintain and improve Azure-based environments and solutions
- Manage and optimize virtual servers and cloud services in Microsoft Azure
- Administer Microsoft 365 user configurations, services, and security policies
- Operate VMware-based server environments integrated with Azure clouds
- Apply network management and security policies, including firewall rules
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell
- Take part in or lead IT projects for new implementations
