Järfälla Municipality is an expanding community with high ambitions, seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to contribute to shaping the future IT environment. This role involves both operational and strategic work with infrastructure architecture across networks, servers, cloud services, and client platforms.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic education in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience in IT architecture focusing on infrastructure including networks, servers, client platforms, and cloud services.
  • Documented experience with solution architecture in large organizations.
  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture and work with target architectures and IT strategies.
  • Experience with both traditional infrastructure and cloud solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, document, and develop the municipality's infrastructure architecture for both local and cloud-based environments.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies, target architectures, guidelines, and principles related to IT and digitalization.
  • Work with solution architecture in projects and assignments, including requirement analysis, evaluation of alternatives, and recommending technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with operational partners, service managers, and system administrators to ensure robust and cost-effective solutions.
  • Support operational partners and suppliers in problem resolution.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate new technologies in network, server, client, and cloud services.
  • Advise on procurements to ensure architectural and technical quality of deliveries.
  • Participate in IT governance forums focusing on architecture, security, and technical governance.
  • Possibly act as technical project leader for larger or complex initiatives.
