The Information Security Manager for the Special Steels Division at SSAB will lead information security initiatives across both IT and OT environments, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with corporate security standards. This role involves collaboration with IT/OT teams, promoting security by design, and fostering a culture of shared responsibility in a global, multicultural setting.
Main requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience in information and cyber security operations and governance
  • Experience with network, security tools, cloud security, OT and application security
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Structured and analytical mindset with a passion for team building
Responsibilities:
  • Lead information security initiatives for both IT and OT environments
  • Promote security and privacy by design in architecture and systems
  • Develop innovative and forward-thinking security solutions
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with divisional IT/OT teams, Corporate Information Security Officer and peers
  • Participate as part of divisional IT Management Team
