Join VIPAS AB as a Functional Safety Specialist to contribute your expertise in ensuring product compliance with functional safety standards such as EN 1175:2020 and ISO 13849. Work in the final project stages reviewing products and documentation to manage risks effectively before product release.
Main requirements:
  • Proven experience in functional safety processes and standards, especially EN 1175:2020 and ISO 13849
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering for safety-critical systems
  • Skilled in risk assessment, safety lifecycle management, and system design validation
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant certifications in functional safety are advantageous
Responsibilities:
  • Review product designs and documentation for safety compliance
  • Perform functional safety assessments including risk analysis and SIL evaluations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve safety-related challenges
  • Validate safety-critical systems to meet industry standards
  • Provide expertise during certification and compliance processes
