First line Network Technician

Join FRA to contribute to Sweden's security through unique and meaningful tasks. Work in a dynamic, knowledge-intensive environment focusing on IT security and confidentiality, providing first-line network support including WAN, campus, and datacenter issues, technical incident resolution, and some physical equipment handling.
Main requirements:
  • Upper secondary education
  • At least 1 year recent experience in daily network operations
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal employees regarding WAN, campus, and datacenter related issues
  • Handle and resolve technical incidents and requests
  • Identify and solve basic network problems
  • Perform physical tasks such as cable management and equipment installation in data centers and wiring rooms
  • Maintain contacts with other FRA departments and external suppliers
  • Adhere to strict IT security and confidentiality policies
Required hard skills:
  • Network operations experience
  • Swedish language proficiency (spoken and written)
  • English language proficiency (spoken and written)
Recommended hard skills:
  • Upper secondary education with technical/network focus and/or vocational training in networking
  • CCNA certification or higher
  • Experience working in a service desk or similar role
  • Driver's license (B)
