Field Service Technician in IT

A technician role focused on working on-site at customer locations to install, troubleshoot, and repair IT equipment including network devices, cash register systems, and servers. The position is based in Stockholm and surrounding areas with a focus on customer contact and responsibility for technical service tasks.
Main requirements:
  • At least a couple of years of experience in IT support, field service, or similar technical role
  • Good knowledge of hardware, networks, and Windows environments
  • Experience working with PCs, servers, printers, and network equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Valid B-driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Installation and troubleshooting of POS systems, scanners, and workstations
  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ATMs
  • Hardware installations and operating system (Windows) management for PC and server environments
  • Working with network components including switches, access points, and routing
  • Installation and configuration of software and basic troubleshooting
  • Incident handling and IMAC services (Install, Move, Add, Change)
  • Daily travel within Greater Stockholm and regular trips to nearby towns like Uppsala
