Combitech AB's Critical Systems business area in Linköping is seeking an experienced systems engineer to join a responsible, self-organizing team working with cutting-edge technology projects. The role involves supporting customers throughout the development process, from requirements definition to coding and testing, acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Main requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a systems engineer or similar role
- Engineering degree in technical physics, computer science, software engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent
- Good understanding of architecture and system design
- Ability to support customers from requirements definition to code implementation and testing
- Capacity to work well in teams and enjoy problem solving together
- Analytical skills and quality awareness
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
- Security clearance due to defense confidentiality requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support customers throughout the entire development process
- Interpret and communicate customer requirements to development teams
- Ensure smooth integration of hardware and software in development projects
- Collaborate closely with software modules and team members, contributing even if not the most experienced coder
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to understand and meet their needs
