Experienced Engineer in Optronics or Image Processing

As an engineer in optronics and/or image processing, you will be part of a team developing and delivering advanced optronic systems ranging from missiles and sights to civilian applications. The role involves system design, sensor technology, algorithm development, and software development for optronic systems, with challenging real-time performance requirements and opportunities to work across multiple product areas matching your interests and strengths.
Main requirements:
  • Several years of experience in image processing, optical sensors, or IR technology
  • Curious, solution-oriented, comfortable with varied tasks and close collaboration with colleagues
  • Passing current security clearance regulations, potentially requiring certain citizenship
Responsibilities:
  • Develop new optronic seekers
  • Conduct pilot studies to explore new technologies and business opportunities
  • Implement, optimize and test image processing algorithms
  • Participate throughout the development lifecycle from customer contact to system verification
Required hard skills:
  • Civil or university engineering degree in engineering physics, computer engineering or equivalent, preferably oriented towards image processing or optical sensors
  • Strong skills in C/C++ and software development in Linux environment
  • Good knowledge of optronic sensors and optics and experience with MATLAB/Python
