A one-year entry-level IT program at the Swedish Armed Forces aiming to build IT competence and lead to permanent employment.
Main requirements:
- Swedish citizenship
- Three-year upper secondary education
- Good computer skills and strong interest in IT
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of English
- Swedish B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
Responsibilities:
- Participate in an onboarding program combining theory and practice
- Work approximately three months in first line service desk handling user IT issues
- Gain practical experience in different areas like systems, hardware, and other military IT operations
- Develop a professional network within the Telecommunications and Information Systems unit
- Maintain and elevate IT competence continuously
Required hard skills:
- Basic to intermediate IT knowledge
- Computer usage proficiency
- Service desk experience (gained during program)
Recommended hard skills:
- IT-related education
- Experience in IT-related work
- Experience with installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in IT
Soft skills:
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to take responsibility
- Independent prioritizing and planning
- Strong motivation and ambition to start or develop an IT career
Natural languages:
