A one-year entry-level IT program at the Swedish Armed Forces aiming to build IT competence and lead to permanent employment.
Main requirements:
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Three-year upper secondary education
  • Good computer skills and strong interest in IT
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Swedish B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in an onboarding program combining theory and practice
  • Work approximately three months in first line service desk handling user IT issues
  • Gain practical experience in different areas like systems, hardware, and other military IT operations
  • Develop a professional network within the Telecommunications and Information Systems unit
  • Maintain and elevate IT competence continuously
Required hard skills:
  • Basic to intermediate IT knowledge
  • Computer usage proficiency
  • Service desk experience (gained during program)
Recommended hard skills:
  • IT-related education
  • Experience in IT-related work
  • Experience with installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in IT
