Edugrade is seeking a dedicated educator in cybersecurity for the vocational higher education program Cybersäkerhetstekniker. The role suits those with at least 2 years experience in IT security who want to share knowledge to help develop future cybersecurity specialists. Teaching combines classroom instruction at Edugrade's campuses in Hudiksvall, Gävle, Örnsköldsvik with digital presence via Teams. The work is part-time teaching 2–3 days per week combined with self-study. Edugrade is part of Hexatronic Group, dedicated to equipping people with relevant skills for different industries and preparing students for successful careers.
Main requirements:
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in IT security or previous educator experience in the area
  • Practical experience with intrusion detection, security analysis, firewalls, and penetration testing
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations
  • Excellent spoken and written skills in Swedish and English
  • Pedagogical ability and experience communicating complex subjects in an easy-to-understand way
Responsibilities:
  • Teach network security, cloud security, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
  • Introduce regulations and standards
  • Lead lectures, supervise laboratory work and project assignments
  • Guide and inspire students both on-site and digitally
  • Assess student work and contribute to the quality and development of the education
  • Collaborate with industry representatives and contribute to planning workplace learning (LIA)
