Svenska kraftnät is a key player in the energy transition. We are expanding our IT division to enable doubled electricity production and a fossil-free future. With new technology, we increase both infrastructure capacity and the pace of digitalization and process development. This role is for a Domain Architect IT within Shared Functions and Finance, working strategically and tactically as a bridge between business and IT to drive digital transformation.
Main requirements:
  • Strong collaboration skills and effective communication.
  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically between business and IT.
  • Analytical with the ability to see the whole and navigate between business and IT.
  • Self-leadership and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize carefully.
  • Higher education in a relevant technical field or solid IT architecture and business architecture experience through work.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in IT architecture and business architecture using established methods, tools, and processes.
  • Experience establishing IT solutions in complex environments.
  • Ability to independently create and anchor target architectures and roadmaps.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop target images, strategies, target architectures, and roadmaps within the domain.
  • Contribute to effective portfolio and management governance.
  • Guide solutions in projects and operations to align with decisions and strategies.
  • Play a central role in developing and executing development plans for portfolio and maintenance.
  • Describe and communicate architecture to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in cooperation groups for coaching, solution review, architecture governance, and framework development.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and support digitalization initiatives.
  • Prepare strategic and tactical decision material.
  • Facilitate workshops and training.
  • Plan and follow up deliveries in projects and operations.
  • Assess need for architecture support within domain and assist with resource supply and allocation.
  • Coordinate and coach solution architects in the domain; lead related solution discussions.
  • Coach colleagues and consultants within the IT division.
  • Enhance understanding and continuously contribute to competence development and trend monitoring in the area.
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with IT architecture and business architecture methods, tools, and processes.
  • Proven experience working with IT solutions in complex environments.
  • Ability to create and anchor target architectures and roadmaps.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English (oral and written).
Recommended hard skills:
  • Certification in IT architecture or related architectural fields.
  • Experience in maintenance and management of physical assets and critical societal infrastructure like power grids, telecom, or real estate within the last 10 years.
  • Experience with implementing enterprise systems.
  • Work experience with IT security in critical societal operations or environments with high security requirements.
  • Experience with modeling tools such as Sparx EA.
