Dispatch & Access Coordinator

The Dispatch & Access Coordinator arranges and coordinates dispatch of Field Engineers to sites based on ticket information, manages site access, supports logistics and shipping for site activities, and serves as the liaison between requesters and Field Level Maintenance partners.
Main requirements:
  • Technical degree and experience in telecommunications.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Service Desk operations.
  • Experience working with Field Engineers.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Post-secondary education/university degree is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Arrange and coordinate dispatch of Field Engineers to sites based on ticket information.
  • Manage site access for Field Engineers.
  • Create and validate inbound site-related requests from customers.
  • Support logistics and shipping of materials needed for site activities.
  • Act as point of contact between requester and Field Level Maintenance partner for site access or shipping issues.
Required hard skills:
  • Telecommunications knowledge (IP, WDM, fiber, site).
  • Experience with Service Desk.
  • Office365 proficiency.
  • Knowledge of IT development projects.
  • ITIL or similar management framework (advantageous).
