DevOps Engineer - Development Tools

As a DevOps Engineer at Svenska Kraftnät, you will contribute to maintaining and further developing our development platforms and tools, supporting agile and DevOps practices within the IT development area. The role includes both coordinating and hands-on operational work such as configuration, troubleshooting, installations, and upgrades.
Main requirements:
- Higher education in system science or similar from university/college or equivalent competence acquired otherwise.
- Several years of current work experience as a system developer or DevOps Engineer supporting system development teams including version control.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jira, Atlassian products).
- Experience with code review tools/systems.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incidents, problems, and perform troubleshooting.
- Drive and execute upgrades and system improvements of development tools and server platforms like Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Support and train new and existing projects and operations to implement DevOps-based working methods, and configure workspaces on server platforms and other development tools.
- Install, configure, and set up new environments for emerging needs.
- Contribute to IT security work by assisting in risk and vulnerability analyses, and monitor information security developments.
Required hard skills:
- System development and DevOps support experience including version control.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jira, Atlassian).
- Experience with code review tools.
- Experience with agile work methods.
- Installation, configuration, and administration of software in Linux and/or Windows environments.
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer introducing DevOps practices and tools over at least three years in Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with infrastructure in secure IT environments (network, firewalls, secure communication).
- Experience with development tools for test automation.
- Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience with WSL2, Python, Docker, Visual Studio, Node.js.
