Join Ericsson AB as a Developer in the Simulation Services (SIMS) unit focused on Layer 2 development for UE Simulators in preparation for 6G technology. Work in an agile team to design, develop, and innovate simulator solutions that support Ericsson’s product verification processes.
Main requirements:
  • Be part of an agile team contributing to Layer 2 UE Simulator development
  • Work in technical area supporting internal users with 6G product development
  • Drive innovation and implement new ideas
  • Perform analysis, system design, pre-development, and incremental implementation with short feedback loops
Responsibilities:
  • Develop Layer 2 components of UE Simulator
  • Support Ericsson internal users by providing reliable simulation tools for 6G
  • Collaborate closely with diverse team members
  • Contribute to system design and implementation phases
Required hard skills:
  • Software engineering with strong coding skills in C++, Python, and Java
  • Knowledge of DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit)
  • Proficiency in Layer 2 Protocols: MAC (Medium Access Control), LLC (Logical Link Control), RLC (Radio Link Control)
  • Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing for efficient data link simulation
