As a senior software developer at Saab's Aircraft Simulation section, you will contribute to developing and improving software components for realistic simulation of the JAS 39 Gripen aircraft. You will collaborate in teams focusing on delivering high-quality software using various programming languages and agile principles, while continually learning and sharing expertise within a supportive and innovative environment.
Main requirements:
- Proven experience in software development with multiple programming languages
- Ability to write, test, and debug code and functions
- Comfortable using Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
- Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience
- Analytical skills and ability to identify relationships and needs
- Responsible and proactive attitude
- Team player with good collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop new software functions and components
- Integrate software with other components
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting
- Conduct testing and documentation of software deliveries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including other sections
- Participate in continuous learning and innovation activities
Required hard skills:
- Programming in ADA, C, C++ and Python
