Main requirements:
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Basic computer skills including MS Office
- Experience in customer service
- Previous technical work experience
- Ability to work shift rotations including day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Install cages, cabinets, cable containments, and customer equipment
- Install and modify Cold Aisle Containments to optimize airflow
- Install, test and modify cross connects including coax, fiber, copper, and advanced circuits
- Manage work priorities using ticketing systems and meet commitment times
- Conduct carrier circuit testing and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain detailed records of all work activities
- Support facility engineers with inspections and issue resolution
- Assist senior staff on large scale projects
- Complete all required training programs
- Support customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order execution
Required hard skills:
- Installation of data center equipment and infrastructure
- Cable management and circuit testing using Fluke and JDSU testers
- Use of ticket management systems (e.g., Siebel)
- Carrier circuit testing
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
