Database Developer at the E-Health Agency

We are looking for an experienced database developer interested in finding new solutions and driven to make a real impact on society. In this role, you will develop and maintain our services and systems, design and implement database objects, and optimize performance within an agile cross-functional team.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic education in data/IT or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of current experience in database development and data modeling in Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Investigate, design, implement, and maintain data models, procedures, data access objects, and other database objects
  • Quality assure solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Maintain metadata and reference tables
  • Perform ongoing performance optimization
  • Collaborate within an agile cross-functional development team
Required hard skills:
  • Database development and data modeling experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of Swedish language (spoken and written)
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with version control tools such as Liquibase or Flyway
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in transaction-intensive systems handling large data volumes
  • Experience working with agile methodologies
  • Experience with test-driven development
