An experienced database developer role contributing to the development and maintenance of services and existing systems at the E-Health Agency. The position involves investigating, designing, implementing, and maintaining data models, procedures, data access objects, and other database objects, ensuring quality solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements, maintaining metadata and reference tables, and ongoing performance optimization. The role is within an agile, cross-functional development team working with advanced technologies to ensure quality solutions before delivery to customers.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic education in computer science/IT or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of current experience in database development and data modeling in Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Investigate, design, implement, and maintain data models, procedures, data access objects, and other database objects
  • Quality assure solutions to fulfill functional and non-functional requirements
  • Maintain metadata and reference tables
  • Perform ongoing performance optimization
  • Work collaboratively within an agile cross-functional development team
  • Support and receive support from team members to ensure high quality solutions before release
Required hard skills:
  • Database development and data modeling in Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
