A dedicated and responsible person is sought to work with producing and making available data and statistics in the money market area. The role involves collecting, processing, analyzing, and publishing data and statistics related to the money market, including daily calculation and publication of the reference rate Swestr, turnover statistics, interest rates, exchange rates, indices, and development and maintenance of calculation models. The position also includes collaboration within a cross-functional data team to further develop data and statistics work in a new data environment, working with large and complex datasets providing unique insights into the financial system.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic degree, e.g. financial economics, economics, computer science, mathematics or similar.
  • Experience handling and analyzing data.
  • Ability to programmatically process data using Python.
  • Experience using code version control tools like GitHub.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
  • Collect, process, analyze, and publish data and statistics on the money market.
  • Daily calculation and publication of the reference rate Swestr.
  • Work continuously with turnover statistics on the money and currency markets.
  • Publish interest rates, exchange rates, indices.
  • Develop and maintain calculation models used in the area.
  • Participate in cross-functional data team to develop data and statistics in the new data environment.
