Configuration Consultant for Workday Assignment

We at PeopleProvide are seeking a self-driven and solution-oriented Workday consultant to a client who can lead the practical implementation and configuration of Workday HCM for Denmark and Norway. This is not a project management position – we are looking for a doer, someone who rolls up their sleeves, translates requirements into the system, and builds the configuration for real.
Main requirements:
  • Plan, configure, and test Workday HCM for Denmark and Norway independently
  • Translate business requirements into Workday processes
  • Structure organizational data and configure access and security rules
  • Implement an already established solution model with local adaptations
  • Ensure test strategy, test cases, and documentation for go/no-go decisions
  • Advise on best practices and sustainable configuration choices
  • Contribute to internal knowledge transfer and training support
Responsibilities:
  • Lead practical implementation and configuration of Workday HCM for specified countries
  • Manage planning, configuration, testing, and deployment phases
  • Serve as expert resource ensuring successful go-live
  • Collaborate between business units and IT
Required hard skills:
  • Extensive experience in independently implementing Workday HCM
  • Strong understanding of configuration, access management, and security modeling
  • Ability to manage structured testing processes
Recommended hard skills:
  • Knowledge of Nordic languages
  • Understanding of HCM terms in Danish/Norwegian
Soft skills:
