GKN Aerospace is a leading global aerospace technology company providing components and systems used in 90% of the world's aircraft. They are currently implementing a strategic Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Siemens Opcenter and seeking a Business Analyst with MES experience to join their Global Manufacturing Engineering team in Trollhättan, Sweden. The role focuses on analyzing and improving production processes, integrating MES with ERP (S/4HANA) and PLM (Teamcenter), and supporting digital manufacturing solutions.
Main requirements:
  • Self-driven and takes ownership of tasks independently
  • Open to new ways of working and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and experience managing change projects
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with Siemens Opcenter MES software
  • Experience integrating PLM and ERP systems with MES
  • Good social skills and ability to build effective networks
  • Minimum three years working experience with MES systems
  • Strong analytical skills and business process analysis experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Right to live and work in Sweden, with willingness to travel within Sweden, USA, and EU
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document MES-related business processes and requirements
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Implement MES solutions and enhancements
  • Analyze and communicate integration needs with PLM, ERP, and shop floor equipment
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and user manuals
  • Perform testing and validation of MES functionalities
  • Provide support and training to MES users
