The Baseband Developer at Ericsson AB will develop and test high performance embedded software for 5G baseband processing platforms, focusing on innovative features and cutting-edge technology in wireless communications.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Solid programming skills preferably in C/C++
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems software development
  • Basic understanding of wireless communication theory
  • Experience with software configuration and delivery tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English verbal and written
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test software and implement new functionalities on Ericsson’s 5G baseband platform
  • Troubleshoot and integrate complex algorithms and software modules in manual and automated environments
  • Apply real-time software development knowledge and wireless communication protocols (5G, LTE, WCDMA, WiFi)
  • Participate in peer reviews, code inspections, and design activities per internal standards
  • Develop and implement test coverage to ensure software quality
