Lead the architectural strategy and development for Ingka Group Digital by managing a team of technical, data, and security architects. Drive innovation and maintain high-quality standards aligning with IKEA's values to create smarter, safer, and user-friendly digital solutions in a fast-moving retail environment.
Main requirements:
  • Advanced training in information technology or computer science
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive and diverse experience as a technical authority
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
  • Experience generating and specifying architectural requirements
  • Expertise in data management, data platforms, and analytics at scale
  • Experience designing and delivering service-oriented architecture
  • Deep understanding of technical architecture in retail
  • Experience delivering open source and cloud-based solutions
  • Documented leadership skills
  • Knowledge of IKEA brand, culture, values, and way of working (preferred)
  • Experience establishing architecture standards across applications, security, data, and infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud
  • Experience in transforming architecture into product and engineering-oriented organisations
  • Experience with agility practices
  • Proficient in using various architectural frameworks
  • Extensive experience delivering enterprise-level architecture in complex environments
Responsibilities:
  • Setting and achieving the strategic digital agenda for Ingka Group Digital
  • Leading and developing a team of technical, data, and security architects
  • Ensuring teams understand the overall direction, vision, and delivery process
  • Guiding and supporting the Platform Engineering team in delivering developer, data, and integration platforms
  • Driving innovative engineering to improve product development and production
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, design, function, price, and sustainability
