As an Applications Specialist within WMS, you take a role where technology meets workflows, where structure creates impact while driving development forward. We work with well-known systems and platforms such as ASTRO, Ongoing, and Nyce, as well as custom-developed platforms at our customers. You will quickly notice that every customer journey is unique, and this is where you come in.
Main requirements:
  • Experience working with at least one major WMS system
  • Good understanding of logistics processes (inbound, picking, returns, inventory, etc.)
  • Experience leading workshops, gathering requirements, and documenting solutions
  • Ability to handle both technology and people with patience and drive
Responsibilities:
  • Work on projects involving implementation and development of WMS solutions
  • Configure workflows, user interfaces, and automation rules
  • Support users, process owners, and system administrators in daily operations
  • Participate in workshops and requirements discussions with customers' business and IT teams
  • Collaborate closely with integration experts to connect WMS to ERP, TA systems, and BI platforms
  • Explore and influence new working methods, process improvements, and technology choices
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with WMS systems such as ASTRO, Ongoing, Nyce, or custom-built solutions
  • Good knowledge of logistics processes
  • Workshop facilitation and requirements gathering
  • Configuration and implementation of WMS
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of EDI and API
  • Experience with integrations to TA or ERP systems
