This role involves managing software development lifecycle, supporting and improving critical applications within a defense industry company. The position requires technical expertise and coordination with various stakeholders to implement IT solutions aligned with business needs.
Main requirements:
  • Interest in technology, IT and business development
  • Experience in software development and various development methodologies
  • Strong technical knowledge and change management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and guide business in solution implementation
  • Academic degree in computer science, system science or relevant field
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and handle incidents and support tasks
  • Experience or understanding of manufacturing industry and product design/development processes is valued
Responsibilities:
  • Drive management and further development of software development systems and services based on business needs
  • Responsible for development, support, and lifecycle management of critical software development applications such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jfrog Artifactory, Visual Studio, compilers and build environments
  • Work closely with end users, process owners, and partners regarding process and system support for product-related software development, testing and verification
  • Coordinate and guide the business in implementing solutions aligned with needs and requirements
  • Plan, follow up and prioritize cases, handle incidents, and propose new technical solutions and work methods for software development
  • Participate in efficiency and digitalization initiatives within the organization
  • Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external suppliers
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with software development and related methodologies
  • Knowledge of leading software development tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jfrog Artifactory, Visual Studio
  • Technical knowledge in software build environments and compilers
  • Academic background in computer science, system science or IT
  • Experience in support and lifecycle management of IT applications
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience or knowledge about manufacturing industry processes, especially design and product development
  • Experience in process and method development within IT
