A skilled analyst role combining finance and data analysis with HR at Skånes University Hospital. The position supports integrated and effective analysis across the organization, strengthening strategic decision-making through complex data analysis.
Main requirements:
- Higher education in statistics, mathematical modeling, economics, information systems, or related fields.
- Proven experience in quantitative analysis related to HR, finance or production.
- Proficiency in Swedish language, both written and spoken.
- Strong skills in analytical tools such as R, Python, Power BI or equivalents.
- Experience building models for staffing, resource planning or scheduling.
- Ability to communicate complex topics effectively to management and decision-makers.
- Capability to work independently, with curiosity to explore relationships.
- Ability to build and maintain networks and collaborations.
Responsibilities:
- Build predictive models for staffing needs based on production data.
- Develop KPIs and visualizations connecting personnel data, production data, and finance.
- Analyze the relationships between staffing, finance, production, and quality.
- Analyze data and trends to support management's strategic decision-making.
- Provide decision support for operational changes such as strategy or organizational adjustments.
- Contribute to data quality development and self-service analytics solutions for the organization.
- Participate and expand cooperation with relevant workgroups and development projects involving follow-ups, analysis, and decision support.
- Make independent decisions regarding analysis priorities and needs within responsibility.
- Initiate and drive improvement initiatives related to modeling, data quality, and analysis.
- Provide recommendations to management and the organization based on analysis and follow-ups.
Required hard skills:
- Higher education in statistics, mathematical modeling, economics, or related disciplines.
- Experience with quantitative analysis in HR, finance or production.
- Strong skills in R, Python, Power BI or similar data analysis tools.
- Model development for staffing/resource planning/scheduling.
