AI Application Expert in Life Sciences

A national role to support researchers in life sciences implement AI projects, managing data, resource applications, machine learning, and model development within a large-scale computing infrastructure across Europe.
Main requirements:
- PhD with work in machine learning in life sciences
- Experience with large-scale computing and/or organizing big data in life sciences
- Proven ability to author scientific publications independently
- Good communication skills in English, written and oral
- Ability to convincingly convey complex scientific project significance to diverse stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Assist life sciences researchers in conducting AI projects involving data compilation, organization, sharing, and machine learning
- Help write resource application proposals
- Develop finished AI models including for microscopy, cryo-electron microscopy, biological macromolecule simulation, genomics, and personalized medicine
- Organize training and joint activities for AI in life sciences
- Collaborate with infrastructures in Sweden and the EU
- Participate in leadership of the European working group for AI in life sciences
