Administration Manager within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

Lead and develop support, lifecycle management, and improvement processes for critical PLM, CAD, and Systems Engineering applications at BAE Systems Sweden, focusing on Aras Innovator PLM system and collaborating closely with users, process owners, and partners.
Main requirements:
  • Academic degree in computer or systems science, or completed higher education/civil engineering studies in mechanics/electronics with interest in business development and IT.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry processes, especially in design, product development, and model-based working methods.
  • Experience with Aras Innovator or other PLM systems and interfaces to CAD and production systems is meritorious.
  • Experience with agile working methods is desirable.
  • Strong initiative and responsibility.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead development, support, and lifecycle management of critical PLM, CAD, and Systems Engineering applications.
  • Manage several administrative objects related to design and product development with Aras Innovator PLM system as the core.
  • Work closely with end users, process owners, and partners to provide process and system support.
  • Plan, follow up and prioritize cases, handle incidents, and propose new solutions and work methods.
  • Ensure IT systems are optimized, efficient, stable, and secure to support business needs.
  • Coordinate development and improvement initiatives and manage application support through suppliers.
  • Travel primarily to BAE Systems offices in Sweden.
Required hard skills:
  • PLM system knowledge, specifically Aras Innovator.
  • Understanding of CAD systems and production-related systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry processes focused on design and product development.
  • Academic background in computer science, systems science, or mechanical/electronic engineering.
  • Incident management and case prioritization.
  • Support and development of IT applications.
  • Agile working methods.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with other PLM systems beyond Aras Innovator.
  • Model-based engineering methods.
